Job title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job description:

• Analyze capital and cash flow reporting from operating sites and prepare consolidated reporting for senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of the Company’s management’s discussion and analysis, annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Assist operating sites and projects in obtaining spending authorization from senior management.
• Managing the accounting ledger, including AP, AR, HST, WWSIB, EHT, & Payroll
• Performing all HST remittances for all companies.
• Performing all EHT & WSIB remittances.
• Processing all cheque runs, for all companies.
• Supervising and completing monthly bank reconciliations.
• Preparing all journal entries.

The ideal candidate will:

• CPA, CA designation is an asset.
• 2-5 years of experience, in finance and accounting or manufacturing industry.
• Exceptional organizational skills sufficient to prioritize and complete assignments and projects independently, while balancing competing needs and attending to detail.
• Demonstrated, outstanding ability to work under pressure in a busy office with frequent interruptions, changing priorities and short deadlines.
• Inventory experience in a product based market
• Implementing or assisted in a major upgrade of an ERP system (any ERP system is fine)
• Excellent people and relationship skills
