About This Opportunity
The IT Architect has primary responsibility to lead in the evolution, design, maintenance and support of Coke Canada IT infrastructure, applications, systems, & procedures. To ensure system uptime, performance, resources, and security, the IT Architect may acquire, install or upgrade components or software; provide routine automation; maintain security/group policies; trouble shoot; train/mentor Specialists and Analysts.
The IT Architect will provide senior level leadership/project management for IT initiatives, projects, and new emerging technologies.
The IT Architect will oversee installation & configure hardware and software packages ensuring compliance with all industry best practices and established Coke Canada technology standards.
As required, the IT Architect will provide support, escalation, and resolution to major incidents/problems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Architect for many business and technology projects across Coke Canada; includes end-to-end design of systems, interfacing, and execution of business needs.
- Provide leadership by proactively working with business and broader IT team to understand business processes, how technology facilitates same, business pain points, technology gaps and provide recommendations to resolves issues short term and long term.
- Proactively provide technical assistance and education to improve end user experience with new and existing technology.
- Recommend & implement new infrastructure, applications, & systems.
- Lead complex IT projects, provide senior IT support to business initiatives requiring IT expertise
- Provides support and resolution to major issues that are escalated from Specialits or Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Degree focus in Computer Science or similar field).
- 10 years’ progressive experience in Information Technology field.
- Up to date certifications, training in areas of Infrastructure, Operations, Windows, Applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced understanding of network infrastructure, computer hardware, and enterprise architectures.
- Demonstrated Ability to architect and support Office/Microsoft 365 Service Environments/ On-Premise & Azure AD Environments, Group Policies
- Advanced proficiency with antivirus, SPAM applications and CYBER Security platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, Intune, Exchange, MS SQL, Microsoft RDS, Citrix products.
- Working knowledge and experience with ITIL monitoring/practices & ticketing systems (ServiceNow/CA preferred).
