The Finance, Audit and Strategic Sourcing Technology (FASST) is aligned against Finance, Strategic Sourcing and Internal Audit corporate functions and provides technical application expertise covering solution design, solution delivery and support and maintenance. Many of these systems range from home grown development to vendor Saas hosted solutions. Its mandate is to execute and support strategic technology delivery in an industrialized, standardized, cost effective, and high-quality manner for all our customers in the growing North American Bank.

Job Description

We are looking for a technology delivery lead with extensive development experience who has an end to end view and can lead the project team in execution for a best in class solution. An individual who actively seeks opportunities to standardize best practices and reduce RTB cost, will partner with business, project management and technology groups to effectively communicate technology decisions and drive business results, and can ensure alignment with the Target Operating Model(TOM) and enterprise architecture/technologies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Facilitate decisions with respect to solution, architecture and potential options & risks which will have downstream impact in cost and scalability.
• Lead the creation and delivery of the end-to-end technical solution
• Participate in business planning discussion and define the technology delivery approach, including cross applications/teams integration, and/or release co-ordination
• Ensure the alignment of solution design to comply with enterprise standards and meet enterprise or segment TS strategic direction (e.g. TOM; enterprise assets)
• Provide technical support for escalated incidents to ensure they are resolved efficiently and communicate to project manager and business partners
• Look for opportunities to minimize / mitigate any negative RTB impact and reduce RTB Costs
• Support and work with Technology Asset Owner (TAO) on smooth transition of new technology deliverables to production operation
• Ensure Change Management Plan is in place for all technology deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 (10+ preferred) years of developments and technology delivery
• Agile Delivery Experience
• Experience with estimation models and ability to guide team to come with end to end estimations
• Large Technology Project / Program delivery & stakeholder management experience will be preferred
• Extensive experience with projects where end-to-end delivery & ownership experience is demonstrated
• Experience with financial accounting systems will be preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of information security requirements as related to external cloud deployment. Different between Public Cloud vs Private Cloud as well as SaaS vs PaaS vs IaaS
• Vendor management and negotiation skills and able to work with multi vendors engagement including System Integrators, Service Providers and Support Services
• Proven track record on Vendor cloud service delivery.
