The SE&I Site Tech Lead is a leadership position over several Integration Engineers and will be expected to perform the following functions:

  • Provide the best value to the customer and deliver engineering expertise and innovation in an agile and responsive manner to meet the emerging needs of the Mission.
  • Recommend and assign system requirements, request for changes (RFC), integration, and project tracking to contract Integration Engineers at the site.
  • Will be responsible for the oversight and successful execution of integration milestones of all integrations assigned to the contract at the site.
  • Will be responsible for the delegation of responsibilities to the individual Integration Engineers through project assignments.
  • Monitor assignments and ensure the Integration Engineers are on track to supply all deliverables per customer expectations and existing processes.
  • Will be responsible for collecting, compiling, and summarizing required reporting data for the program, customers and the Integration Team as designated by the Site Lead and Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Compile and provide in-person technical briefings as needed to the Customer & PMO.
  • Mentoring and training of Integration Engineers is expected to help shape and aid in developing Integration Engineers on program.
  • Act as the Site Lead back up when the Site Lead is unavailable, and will be the representative of the Company, Program and Customer.
  • Will be required to run a limited number of Integrations or projects and to act in backup capability for Integration Engineers when needed, while allowing time to provide guidance to the Integration Engineers and work on process improvements.
  • Orchestrate cross-site communication between the other on-contract Site Tech Leads to create an inclusive environment for information flow.
  • Will support customer directed improvement, document review, and activities to ensure supportability of overall contract goals along with ensuring contract supportability for roles and responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/poly
  • Willingness to think “outside the box” and push the envelope on Systems Engineering and Integration processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills, including the ability to establish positive relationships with customer, teammates, other Contract site leads and support contractors at all levels.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who demonstrates ability to perform effectively in a rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision. Strong time management skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Record of effectively interacting with contractor and customer leadership as well as teammates on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
