Job description: The position provides actuarial support to all actuarial initiatives for the Workers Compensation Board of Saskatchewan (WCB); including data analysis, development of assumptions and execution of models. The Senior Actuarial Analyst maintains, executes and coordinates the enhanced rate model, validates results, evaluates and performs back testing of the enhanced rate model, recommending changes, as needed, to the Consulting Actuary and Director of Strategic Finance. The position would supervise the work of the Actuarial intern coop student. Provides support to the consulting actuary to support the benefit liability model and current year direct Claim Cost Forecasts.

Qualifications:
Four (4) year university degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related quantitative discipline

Successful completion of at least 3 Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams.

Minimum of three (3) years actuarial experience

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferably in a financial environment
