Job title: Part-Time Childcare Tutor/Nannying Position
Job description: Part-time tutor/nanny required for 2 energetic boys aged 6 and 9 (grades 1 & 4) We’re looking for part-time in-home tutoring/nannying 2-3 days per week for our smart, playful, energetic boys. You are the ideal candidate if you have a passion for education, enjoy art, math, reading, writing, and also love the outdoors. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being around the boys and us (meaning that you will interact with the kids without a mask on in our home). Please do not apply if this is an issue for you. Duties will include: *Helping kids with assignments/questions in a variety of subjects including math, reading, writing, science *Support the kids with their learning either online or via workbook assignments *Doing activities with the boys including art, reading, creative writing, games *Taking the kids on short outings to the nearby park *Prepare lunch/snacks as needed *Light cleaning/tyding after meals Qualifications: *Kind, caring, patient, loves children *Trustworthy, responsible, self-starter *Strong organizational skills *Able to do basic math at a 4th grade level (i. e. long division, multiplication, etc. ) *Able to support grade 4 level reading and writing assignments *Background checks, including previous employment references related to character, attitude and general work ethic will be requested. *We would prefer if you also speak French (bilingual), but it is not required.
Salary $18/hour
Less than 20 hours/week
