Job description: Road to Employment Supervisor
Full Time Permanent

The following position is hereby posted in accordance with Article 8 of the Collective Agreement between Saskatchewan Government Employees Union and Rainbow Youth Centre.

Description: working under the supervision of the Executive Director the incumbent will be responsible for the planning, implementation, administration, evaluation and facilitation of the program.

Qualifications:

4 years of education and/or experience relevant to the position.
Minimum two years experience facilitating programs for youth and young adults with knowledge of group dynamics and/or teaching strategies. Testing at time of interview will be done in the areas of Mathematics and English as these are paramount to the program (a pass is required).
Successful experience in program management, particularly in a multicultural setting.
Training and experience as a life skills coach an asset.
Experience in individual counselling and support.
Experience working with youth ages 18-25.
Computer literacy.
Experience in staff supervision. (Minimum 1 year)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong administrative, reporting, and evaluation skills.
Knowledge of community resources and ability to network to secure work placements.
Valid drivers license (non-probationary).
