Job description: The Nicotine Dependence Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly-organized individual with previous continuing education experience to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, and working in close collaboration with knowledge translation and education team members, your primary assignments will be to support the development and delivery of learning products for healthcare professionals, the general public, and other audiences through the TEACH Project
The Education Associate will be responsible for supporting both internal and external education initiatives, including capacity-building, evaluation, digital health equity and knowledge exchange activities across the NDS portfolio. This includes supporting the development and design of e-learning modules, webinars, user guides, web-based resources, quick reference guides, and other learning and support materials, as needed, with an emphasis on embedding best practices for evidence-based Education delivery and accessibility requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for creating online content in a variety of digital formats, including the development of audio files, images, and videos, and interactive learning objects, using H5P. You will need to work in different web and eLearning platforms, including Moodle and Articulate, and to develop and deploy surveys using REDCap. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the supporting monthly TEACH Educational Rounds, and supporting the development and submission of accreditation applications for learning modules. The candidate must also be fully French/English Bilingual.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Psychology, or one of the Social Sciences, with one to two years of related experience in the area of Education and/ or Administration. Full French/English Bilingualism is a requirement for this position. Experience using online learning management systems is required; familiarity with the Moodle Learning Management System is preferred. The vast majority of tasks are computer-based and require strong working knowledge and proficiency with common MS Office applications (in particular superior MS Excel skills), internet search engines, and videoconferencing technologies. The successful candidate will possess the ability for self-directed learning and work, as well as collaboration and teamwork. Knowledge and experience in working with virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., WebEx) and REDCap is also an asset. Demonstrated ability to work with clients of diverse backgrounds is necessary. You will have the ability to work effectively with a diverse population and within a dynamic team environment.
Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Please Note: This full time, contract (12 month) position is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.
Salary Range: $28.90 – $38.98 hour
