The primary purpose of the Engineering Branch is to provide a safe, forest road network which balances industrial, commercial and public use in a cost effective manner reflecting the level of use and available funding while minimizing impacts to the environment.
The Contract and Administration Clerk is responsible for effective and efficient financial and administrative operations of the Engineering Branch. This position works with managers and staff to coordinate and support administrative processes and the associated budget of approximately $ 4 million. The position coordinates and administers all contracts and regularly communicates to staff regarding procedures. In addition, the Contract and Administration Clerk carries out a wide variety of operational, financial and administrative tasks, and is often the first line of contact for ministry staff, other ministries, contractors, industry representatives and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- A Minimum of 2 years of current financial administration experience, which includes experience in contract administration. Preference may be given to applicants with 3 years or more of current financial administration experience, which includes experience in contract administration.
- Experience using tracking and monitoring systems.
- A minimum of 2 years of computer experience entering data and/or generating financial spreadsheets, word documents and/or reports. Preference may be given to applicants with 3 years or more of computer experience entering data and/or generating financial spreadsheets, word documents and/or reports.
- Preference may be given to applicants with related government financial training courses such as the Financial Services Course or the Financial Management and Control Course or equivalent.
