Responsibilities

Work with team members to conduct host and network forensics, log analysis, malware analysis, threat intelligence gathering to support incident response investigations and client engagements
Build scripts and tools to execute collections and analysis
Develop and contribute to reports and materials intended for both technical and executive audiences
Work with both clients and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Notify clients of any potential problems in their environment
Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Skills and Experience

Posses a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
Working towards a CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or other related certifications
Minimum of 5 years of technology and/or cybersecurity work history
Minimum 5 years of experience defining and implementing cyber security services & solutions
Excellent understanding of Cyber Security Services (penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, TRA’s, PCI, etc.) and Solutions (NGFW, IPS, 2-factor authentication, SIEM, networking etc.), including architecting, configuration and installation
Experience with Creating and Delivering Cyber Security Services (i.e., TRA’s, PCI, Pen Testing, Cyber maturity Assessments, Cyber Security Risk Assessments for Cloud, Incident response/forensics, NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), etc.)
Understanding of Security and Privacy regulatory/legislative compliance (OSFI, Interac, PCI, PIPEDA, etc.)
Experience with architecting, configuration and delivering technology-based controls.
Experienced with security and risk standards and regulatory controls including ISO, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, CSC, SOX, PCI-DSS
Bilingualism in French and English considered an asset
Security Clearance is considered an asset and will be required
Some travel required
