Job description: AGM Renovations provides quality basement, bathroom, and kitchen renovations in Ontario. As we are rapidly growing across Canada, we are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly manage and oversee AGM’s departments including: Operations, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Design
• Report directly to the CEO
• Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, and departments
• Be part of the management team determining organizational goals, objectives, policies, and programs
• Develop and execute strategies to successfully expand geographically
• Contributing to the establishment of a plan of action for the company’s short term and long-term goals
• Plan and formulate policies, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules
• Lead and manage monthly and quarterly operational meetings
• Establish internal controls
• Develop workarounds for delays and other problem(s)
• Delegate duties, tasks, and responsibilities to staff across all departments
• Create and maintain optimum working conditions and positive work culture

Requirements

• 5-7 years + experience in a General Manager Position
• 4 years of construction experience is a MUST
• Previous experience with leading and managing 50+ staff plus
• Experience at a department head level with managing Sales, Operations, Finance, Design, etc
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of construction projects
• Proven experience with meeting tight deadlines
• Proven ability to thrive and exceed in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel across Canada and US when needed
• Team player
• Excellent oral communication
• Excellent written communication
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
