Job title: Director of Finance
Job description: Our client in the consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking an interim solution as a Director of Finance.
This privately owned company has gone through hyper growth over the last few years, and are now looking to mature their finance and business functions in order to prepare for further growth over the coming years. As a senior member of a team of 14 individuals, we would expect you to lead by example, providing accuracy in a timely and conscientious fashion, whilst maintaining and reporting on key financial metrics. This contract opportunity will also be providing financial leadership, overseeing all accounting functions, participating in specific analytical projects and enhancing the financial planning and analysis function.
Amongst many different responsibilities, the successful consultant will have the following duties:
- Act as a leader by example and provide a technically strong backbone to this finance function
- Provide detail and accurate reporting on a timely basis (ASPE)
- Support tax compliance
- Working alongside other colleagues, initiative an extensive pricing exercise to match the changes in the market
- Collaborate with external partners across Europe and other international regions
- support an upcoming finance system implementation
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you are a Designated Accounting professional with over 10 years’ experience.
We would also expect the following accolades and personality traits to suit well in this environment:
- High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
- Previous ERP Systems Implementations experience
- Must be detail oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment
