Job description: WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will have primary responsibility for applications and tools supporting the Time and Expense Management functions. You will work closely with Expense and Finance business stakeholders to elicit business and non-functional requirements, perform gap analysis and feasibility checks, write clear and comprehensive specifications and end-user documentation, configure changes, and work with other team members to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. You will also support end-user issues and questions, troubleshoot and provide knowledge transfer to the operations team

YOUR EMPLOYEE TYPE IS

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required. Major in Business, Finance, Technology or related field encouraged.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in solution design and development, systems integration, and solution implementation support.
  • Experience with time/expense management or similar processes
  • Experience in working on Integration design and development
  • Proven experience balancing both technical and functional roles
  • Experience working with purchased financial applications; direct experience with ChromeRiver and/or Infor platforms is a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge about cloud platforms and architectures
  • Programming Skills: SQL, Dot-Net development
  • Experience with SQL*Loader, SQL*Plus and TOAD (or equivalent tool) (Good to Have)
  • Knowledge of leading ERP platforms (e.g. SAP) is desirable
  • Experience as a Techno-Functional resource
  • Proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and presenting in English is required
  • Must be open for flexible working as per business needs

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Performing techno-functional activities in support of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based and custom developed applications
  • Delivering business-impacting analytics and reporting
  • Providing technical analysis of both packaged software applications and custom-built applications and have the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Participating in technical group discussions with clients, analysts and developers (internal or external) under minimal supervision to meet project milestones
  • Writing concise and clear Technical Systems Design documents, based on analysis of business requirements
  • Working with developers from vendors in assigning and coordinating development, and in providing quality assurance
  • Actively monitoring and resolving issues with a sense of urgency, proactively communicating to keep key stakeholders and management team informed
  • Applying Agile product delivery methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques
  • Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of technical competence
  • Working with multicultural distributed team located in different time zones and have the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently.
