The Associate Consultant, Compensation Consulting at LifeWorks takes part in compensation-related projects for our clients, such as developing tools, programs and proposals, managing salary surveys, and maintaining business relations. Duties include business development activities such as preparing presentations for webinars.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare analyses and summaries, and suggest solutions based on the analyses
  • Design tools/programs that can be leveraged across Canada
  • Lead the benchmarking side for custom surveys
  • Prepare proposals in response to Requests for Proposals
  • Prepare and revise PowerPoint presentations and reports for clients
  • Make recommendations for projects of mid-range complexity
  • Maintain and develop the client relationship

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in business administration, finance, industrial relations, economics, statistics, mathematics, human resources or accounting
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in compensation consulting
  • Experience in data analysis and presentation design
  • Experience in compensation programs (executive compensation experience an asset)
  • Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Focus on the quality of work
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and highly proficient in Excel
  • Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needs
  • Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
