Reporting to the Delivery Services Supervisor, the Warehouse & Logistics Administrator is responsible for the warehouse operations including asset and document storage, the use and training on various distribution software’s, and analytics and reporting. This position is will also be the lead on a newly developed Surplus Sales Site, were NAIT can sell used assets to Staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for warehouse operations including assets and document storage
  • Provide guidance and assistance to NAITs community on how to use our services and providing best practices
  • Maintaining, training and use of Distributions software’s (VCK-SQL, PeopleSoft, Qtrak)
  • Administrator for the Surplus Sales website and coordinator for the Alberta Surplus Program
  • Providing analytics and reporting on distribution activities (Mail, receiving stats, surplus activities)
  • Provide input on improvements (software, processes, policies and procedures)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Related post-secondary certificate or diploma
  • 5 years in a warehouse administrative role (preferred)
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Valid Proof of Covid Vaccination
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate (preferred)
  • Equivalencies may be considered

Remuneration: $1,957.47 to $2,557.12 bi-weekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package (classification: Administrative Support VI).

This position is covered by the AUPE (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees) Collective Agreement.
