Senior Technology Infrastructure Administrator

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Senior Technology Infrastructure Administrator with advanced networking experience, strong Powershell and working experience in Azure to place at our client, a non profit organization. We have placed multiple people on this very team and they are growing!

Terms: Full Time

Team Structure: 3 senior admins/2 intermediate

Working Conditions: Fully remote for the time being – in office once back to normalcy

Office Location: Toronto, Ontario

Operational Management

• Manage servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
• Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Manage enterprise directory services and supporting server infrastructure such as administering and maintaining end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Perform system backups and recovery.
• Create shell scripts as required.
• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.

Must Haves:

• Powershell
• Cloud experience – preferably Azure

Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of the following: Windows Serves, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Powershell, Azure
• Expertise in administering and managing Active Directory.
• Azure cloud operations including networking, storage, security, deployment, monitoring, configuration, management, and automation
