Position: Estimator
Location: Concord, ON
Salary: $55,000 – $85,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
Industry: Construction / Estimator / Civil Projects /
Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Estimating multiple projects with values ranging from $100,000 to $20,000,000
- Lead pursuits and review project estimates with management
- Prepare and maintain bid packages and tender documents
- Contact subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely bid submissions and accurate quotations
- Among other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Post-Secondary Education in construction estimation, engineering or other relevant field.
- 5+ years estimator experience in construction
- Civil construction experience
- Experience with sewers and watermains, hard and soft landscaping, roads and concrete work
- Ability to travel to work sites
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
