As a Quality Supervisor for our Toronto District Office, you will contribute to our team by:

  • Conducting quality activities aligned with project scope as per the contract terms and conditions.
  • Reviewing the project specifications and identifing quality requirements.
  • Producing and collecting quality turnover documentation.
  • Acting as a liaison with craft/staff personnel to provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Identifiing and discerning root causes associated with nonconformances and reporting them to project team and quality manager.
  • Verifiing trade contractor compliance to their quality program and contract documents.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of ITPs.
  • Planning and coordinating daily Quality Assurance/Quality Coordinator (QA/QC) activities with construction activities.
  • Working with field management to ensure the protection of finished work.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Tradesperson or postsecondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality control and/or the construction industry, including supervisory and leadership experience preferred
  • Planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.
  • Familiarity with basic planning and sequencing concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to coach and mentor.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills with quality computer applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
