Job Description: The IT Product Manager (Microsoft365) is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the entire product lifecycle including requirements gathering, market research, definition of product vision and strategy, delivery management as well as ensuring quality support and maintenance. The IT – PdM (M365) collaborates closely with the user groups, market leaders, IT Development and Operations teams, vendors and other related organizations. The IT – PdM (M365) provides leadership and management to the Business Analysis team.

This is a term position until March 31, 2023. The primary focus of this position will be the Microsoft 365 (“M365”) product suite.

Qualifications Required

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in computing science or equivalent information technology discipline.
  • Eight (8) years of recent related senior level experience including a minimum of six (6) years of business analysis, four (4) years of product design, four (4) years of product management. Experience should also include a minimum two (2) years of team leadership and two (2) years of project management
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Strong practical knowledge of project and product management principles, methods and practices
  • Solid understanding of product design and business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, and agile practices.
  • Experience in M365 suite of tools, including but not limited to SharePoint Online, Groups, Teams, Yammer, Exchange and OneDrive required.
  • Experience in requirement analysis and business process re-engineering required.
  • Prior experience in agile methodologies preferred.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive file sync, and Microsoft Teams strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis using Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, or other similar tools preferred.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and to effectively meet deadlines and organizational requirements.
  • Ability to maintain a broad knowledge of current technology and practices in information systems and technology.
  • Ability to interpret and comply with policies, procedures and regulations.

Salary Range: $44.27 – $64.93 per hour

Pay Grade: Admin Paygrade 11

Compensation beyond the mid-point requires approval by the Public Sector Employers’ Council Secretariat (PSEC).

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 35

Hours may vary according to the needs of the department.
