Job Description:
- Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Designs products or systems such as labeling machines, or other equipment requiring machine design, mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or calculations.
- Coordinates release of new products from development to manufacturing, providing accurate bills of material, assembly drawings and part drawings.
- Designs products and systems to interface with existing product lines.
- Evaluates field installations and recommends design modification to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Occasional travel to customer sites or other BW sites maybe required to support installation and/or service work.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience of machine design and automation, preferably in the packaging industry.
