Job description: VALLEY COMFORT SYSTEMS, the manufacturer of BLAZE KING quality wood and gas stoves has immediate openings for PRODUCTION WORKERS at our Penticton facility.

These positions may be day shift (Mon-Thurs 6am-3pm, Fri 6am-12pm) or (after sufficient training) afternoon shift (Mon-Thurs 2:30pm-1am). We are looking for people with a “can-do” attitude to join the team in our fast paced manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with hand tools, ability to read a tape measure, follow shop drawings, and attention to detail are desired skills.
These positions may require some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and may involve tasks such as parts washing, sanding, grinding, painting and assembly work and other miscellaneous tasks as required.

These are entry level production positions but Valley Comfort Systems offers the right candidates the opportunity to learn various CNC metal processing equipment.

We offer a great compensation package including a competitive starting wage as well as a benefit package (extended health, dental, vision) after the 3 month probationary period. Within the first year of employment, our compensation package also includes an employee share purchase plan, safety boot allowance, and matching RRSP program. All employees are also eligible for annual bonuses dependent on personal performance and company profitability.

We are a team that works hard but likes to have fun. Due to the pandemic, we have dialed back our social committee functions, but we continue to have occasional lunches to celebrate our successes, with proper safety precautions in place.
