Working out of a home office you will manage all aspects of engagements within your assigned territory, British Columbia and Alberta, for our Honeywell Building Technologies direct sales organization, focused on the Education Vertical; K-12 and Higher Education.

Travel and driving throughout the territory with occasional overnight stay is required

Territory subject to change based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting for new accounts within your assigned territory; you may be assigned a book of existing accounts to start with as well.
  • Strategically manage and plan accounts for growth, aligning with business objectives
  • Grow the account base by increasing wallet share within existing accounts through up and cross selling
  • Align with organizational sales campaigns and growth vectors
  • Understand the Education market in the assigned territory (British Columbia and Alberta) from the classroom up to the Ministry
  • Establish rapport and build deep relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Build a pipeline large enough to exceed your assigned quota
  • Accurately forecast your pipeline weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Articulate and deliver value proposition as the customer sees the value
  • Negotiate and close opportunities
  • Manage momentum through the sales cycle
  • Maintain sales KPI’s: Pipeline size, meetings, proposals, opportunity loads, new prospect engagements, etc…
  • Be able to clearly articulate your path to closing your opportunities; key actions, stakeholders, dates, etc…
  • Update CRM and Forecast weekly
