We are currently looking to hire a Finance and Account Clerk, to fill a temporary position to cover maternity and parental leave for an existing employee. This engagement will be for a 12-16 month period. There will be an aspect of working in-office and remotely with this role, based on schedule and experience.

Candidates must be proficient in using QuickBooks, have full-cycle bookkeeping experience, experience in collections is an asset, while experience in preparing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations are a must.

Additional experience needed includes:

  • Year End Adjustment Entries
  • Liaising with external accountant for year end

Basic Job Duties Include:

  • Client Order & Invoice Generation
  • Accounts Receivable Processing
  • Weekly & Monthly Financial Report Generation

Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities Required:

  • Strong Organizational, Presentation, and Customer Service Skills.
  • Skilled in preparing written communications.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapter to changes quickly.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry.
  • 3 Years of Accounting & Finance Experience
