The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the effective operation of the Vehicle Products Group, including Electronics Engineering. This individual will answer the telephone, answer emails, and is responsible for any other requests for assistance as required by the Electronics Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Vehicle Products and related personnel as required, including Program Managers and the Electronics Engineering Manager.
- Seek out clarification when needed to ensure accuracy of work.
- Provide timely and helpful information to others as needed.
- Effectively communicate on a one-on-one basis, in small and large groups and among diverse styles and positions levels.
- Assist with administrative functions in the tracking of customer information.
- Data entry into ERP and Intranet system.
- Collect data to maintain and update sales forecasts on a regular basis.
- Compile reports and maintain data, primarily in Excel.
- Draft communication for review.
- Draft and publish administrative/procedural documents.
- Create and update new product component data in ERP system.
- Take meeting notes/minutes and distribute to group.

- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Experience using all Microsoft Office applications
- Proven organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
- Ability to exercise good judgment, initiative and maturity
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience.
- Exhibits maturity, professionalism, and a customer-first focus
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to balance competing priorities
