Summary:

The individual to fulfill this position must be a self-assured independent worker who can understand complex requirements; solve complex business problems and work with the Product Managers and Architects to develop products powered by Artificial Intelligence to help our clients find the answers they are looking for. He/she must be able to work closely with Product Management, Business Requirements Analysts, developers and QA to develop and support the product offering based on broad client needs.
This person should have superior analytical capabilities, the ability to understand complex business processes, the ability to work collaboratively, and possess strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Review production usage data
  • Perform ongoing training of our AI engine based on production data
  • Identify areas where new topics should be added for training
  • Learn and Produce high quality code, using IBM Watson Assistance dialog flows
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the AI product
  • Produce excellent technical documentation to support stakeholders responsible for product implementation and support
  • Produce excellent client facing documentation that outlines the scope and details of the AI production solution for each client.
  • Collaborate on delivery of product functionality in line with organizational priorities
  • Collaborate with architecture and product development staff on implementation of new product features and defect resolution
  • Adhere to defined development processes under the guidance of senior staff
  • Work with the project team, performing analysis on business requirements or create our own business requirements and producing technical designs and ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Participate in the planning, executing, controlling and closing of team projects
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure quality in all products being delivered
  • Set realistic and achievable expectations for deliverables
  • Ensure effective work habits including punctuality, responsiveness and accessibility to others
  • Promote team work and collegiality in the work environment
  • Observe the corporate values of LifeWorks

Succeeding as an Analyst – cognitive technology, will require the core qualifications and skills :

Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Perfectly fluent in French and English, spoken and written
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Three years of relevant experience in business analysis
  • Excellent ability to grasp and summarize information and good at understanding, systematizing and explaining technical concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, easily maintainable

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience in the Employee Benefits Administration domain
  • Experience in the Pension Administration domain
  • Experience with IBM Watson Assistant
  • Experience with industry standard development processes
  • Experience with Agile development processes

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related study or equivalent work experience with a focus on business analysis
  • Three+ years of business analysis/development experience
