In your role, you will:

  • Contribute to the process of developing the five-year strategic plan, the annual budget, quarterly forecasts.
  • Conduct the continuous process of monitoring the achievement of financial objectives and identifying risks and opportunities (Profit Assurance Plan)
  • Support the consolidation, analysis and evaluation of the income statement by comparing actual financial performance against the annual budget, five-year strategic plan and periodic forecasts.
  • Ensure good communication and coordination with the various teams of the finance function in each of the forecasting processes and during the production of variance reports.
  • Perform in-depth analyzes on request for specific topics.
  • Prepare financial information presentations (Five-year plan, annual budget, monthly reviews of operations)
  • Ensure the maintenance and administration of the SAP / BPC module relevant to sales & profits

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
  • You hold a professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • You have a master MS Office
  • You have 6 to 12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or other relevant experience
  • You are familiar with accounting standards
  • You have the sense of planning and organization necessary to coordinate the workload taking into account multiple assignments
  • You have the sound judgment and analytical skills required to assess different possibilities and make recommendations to help management make decisions
  • You have the interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with your colleagues, other lines of business and members of management
  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English, with all levels
  • You know the SAP-BPC system, business performance management applications and consolidation applications (an asset)
  • You have a working knowledge of process improvement
