Your contribution!

Reporting to the Director – IT Architecture and Evolution, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the implementation, operation and maintenance of IT security measures. In addition, you will intervene in a preventive and corrective manner on security incidents.

Your day-to-day!

  • Contribute to the management, tracking and resolution of security events.
  • Lead the analysis of computer security issues and propose solutions.
  • Manage anti-virus and anti-spam products, ensure their availability and proper functioning and act as 3rd line support.
  • Operate intrusion prevention systems, monitor alerts and ensure policy evolution.
  • Participate in the development of security standards for IT assets and ensure their implementation, particularly with regard to server security.
  • Participate in work related to internal and external audits by performing analysis and compiling information requested by the auditors.
  • Ensure a technological watch on the evolution of IT security risks and carry out the additional analyses required to provide recommendations.
  • Create education and awareness programs and provide guidance on security issues, best practices and vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in the management of the security platform (SIEM, EDR, NDR, etc.).
  • Participate in the selection of technical cybersecurity solutions and tools and lead their deployment and implementation.
  • Manage vendors on vulnerability management and follow up on their work, e.g. patch deployment, solution deployment.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • University degree in computer science or information security;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant IT experience;
  • Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS), an asset;
  • Knowledge of NIST/NERC standards, an asset;
  • Tactical and operational experience in offensive and defensive cybersecurity;
  • Knowledge of information security practices and tools;
  • Expertise in technological infrastructure (directory services, distributed security architectures, security systems management);
  • Expertise in virtual private networks, firewalls, TCP/IP, token systems, authentication systems;
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux);
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English.

  • The position is based at the company’s head office located in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station;
  • This position is a P2 level
