What- the Role:

We are seeking a new Analyst, Tax for our client’s Controller’s Group (i.e. Accounting & Finance Team). The Analyst will work alongside many other qualified accountants in financial reporting, corporate accounting, tax, transfer pricing, financial analysis, etc. The Analyst will apply their analytical skills and strategic business savvy to various complex issues pertaining to the company’s global taxation. This role involves ad hoc analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.

There is a good deal of interaction with senior leaders involved in this role.

We are seeking an intelligent, curious, driven, and well-rounded accounting, tax, and/or audit professional who takes pride in producing top quality work and who enjoys working closely with a variety of people across all departments of an organization.

Who- the Candidate:

We are looking for designated CPAs who are personable communicators, and who have the drive and interest to learn the company’s business inside-out. Detail-orientation and an analytical mindset are paramount in this role, as is a calm, cool, and collected work style. Our client has a top-notch accounting & finance department, and we are seeking someone who can seamlessly integrate with this highly collaborative team and reciprocate help to colleagues.

• CPA designation (or international equivalent) required
• 3+ years relevant experience in tax and/or accounting, preferably with training in public practice.
• Some form of global tax exposure is required- the more the better!
• Excellent analytical skills are required and financial modeling skills are highly preferred
• Proficiency in Excel is required, and ability to manipulate financial models within Excel is an asset
• Experience in a large and complex global public company highly preferred
• Hands-on experience using a cloud-based ERP system is preferred

Generous base salary commensurate with experience and skills.
