Résumé de l’emploi
L’analyste comptable, Marges pour la clientèle, soutiendra les activités de gestion comptable liées aux rabais du client, ainsi que les activités relatives au budget, aux prévisions, au suivi et à l’analyse des écarts de la marge sur les ventes.
Responsabilités spécifiques
- Participer à l’ensemble des activités de gestion comptable et de paiement aux clients (350 M$).
- Participer à la gestion comptable des rabais des clients et des rapprochements des éléments de bilan connexes.
- Veiller à ce que la gestion comptable de rabais du client soit exacte et tenue en fonction des contrats.
- Respecter les politiques de l’entreprise concernant les rabais du client et assurer que les contrôles appropriés sont mis en place.
- Contribuer au processus d’analyse et de planification financières pour le budget et les prévisions des composants de la marge sur les ventes (220 M$).
- Préparer les rapports, le suivi des écarts et l’analyse financière de la marge sur les ventes.
- Soutenir les activités d’analyses stratégiques ponctuelles de la marge sur les ventes en collaboration étroite avec l’équipe de tarification stratégique.
Exigences du poste
- Baccalauréat en commerce avec spécialisation en finance ou en gestion comptable.
- Titre de CPA ou en voie de l’obtenir (obligatoire).
- Un MBA avec des compétences en finances sera également pris en compte.
- Minimum de 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire.
- Expertise dans les analyses d’affaires.
- Connaissance approfondie de la suite Microsoft Office (particulièrement d’Excel et de PowerPoint).
- Connaissance d’un logiciel comptable ou de de SAP (un atout).
- Capacité à remettre en question les pratiques établies et à formuler des recommandations aux fins d’amélioration.
- Très grand esprit d’équipe avec d’excellentes habiletés en communications interpersonnelles.
- Excellentes compétences en matière de communication, autant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
- Bilinguisme (anglais et français).

Job Summary
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the Accounting Analyst is responsible for monthly accounting activities, participates in month end close, analyses transactions and prepare balance sheet reconciliations. The incumbent will also be working closely with the Treasury and Disbursment Analyst, sharing his responsibilities and supporting him in this role.
Specific Responsibilities
- Actively participates in the Head Office month end process: prepare journal entry, analyse, validate and record transactions in SAP within strict deadlines.
- Participate in the execution of daily disbursement activities (cheque runs, wire transfers, etc).
- Supports the Treasury analyst in the Planning, monitoring and investing daily cash flow for all Canadian McKesson entities throught McKesson Funding.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations within corporate timeline.
- Analyzes and ensures General Ledger transactions are accurate.
- Acts as a business partners with different departments.
- Reviews and reconciles intercompany transactions.
- Reconciles balance sheet GL accounts.
- Review, propose and implement process & system improvements.
- Monitors variances or expenditures, highlight issues and notify Lead.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and accounting policies (SOX).
- Produce detailed ad-hoc financial reports.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA designation or soon to be obtained (mandatory).
- An MBA with financial expertise would be considered.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of financial processes.
- Knowledge of an accounting system or SAP (an asset).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent interpersonal relations skills and ease in communicating efficiently with all management Levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, in both French and English.
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent judgment.
- Autonomy and organizational skills, ability to take initiative and maintain confidentiality, good judgment.
- Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines.
- Bilingualism (French and English).
