Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

RBC Capital Markets is seeking a Project Manager within QTS-BCS & Supervisory Technology. This project will be in support of the US Cash Management program. This person will work collaboratively with vendors and managing front to back functions to ensure projects objectives are achieved. The PM will be heavily involved in shaping the future technology landscape of RBCCM, by delivering key business values for a transformational project in Clearing & Settlement Technology while implementing strategic components servicing across all CM functions defined in our roadmap.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Organizing multiple work streams to deliver against their roadmaps, and syncing with the overall program roadmap
  • Managing stakeholders and messaging to Leadership
  • Work with global teams, such as Business, Product and Enterprise teams
  • High level of general management skills including, but not limited to, leading, negotiating, communicating and team building
  • Knowledge of Project Management and project delivery methodology
  • Advanced knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
  • Superior business acumen
  • Advanced verbal and written communications skills required to manage communications to all stakeholders
  • Advanced ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • 5-7 years’ of experience leading projects with a high level of value (benefit / cost), SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies and Jira & Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets products & trade lifecycle
  • Management experience with firm-wide change / regulatory project
  • Proven experience successfully managing and implementing large scale, high visibility projects with management of large cross-functional project teams

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous RBC or Financial Services experience would be an asset
  • Preferred to have Cash Management or Treasury Management experience
  • Project Management/Scrum Master certifications
