Through strategic executive support, superior leadership development and diligent operational planning, we inspire our team members and support the growth of business acumen, innovative leaders and the technical skills of the future.
Our TSBT team is at the heart of building TELUS’ next-generation networks, driving innovation and leading the charge on TELUS’ multi-billion dollar investments in best-in-class technology solutions. Our diverse, cross-functional team is also responsible for evolving TELUS’ business models, supply chain and technology investments so that our customers get faster access to the latest services.

As a Business Consultant within our Technology Strategy and Business Transformation (TSBT) team, you will be directly responsible for leading programs and driving critical deliverables to completion. You will be joining our Strategic Initiatives Team, which is a multi-functional and experienced team within TSBT responsible for a portfolio of business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders throughout TSBT to drive transformational and innovation initiatives. You will be part of a small team with a big scope, responsible for corporate reporting, business enablement, marketing, scorecard tracking, resource management and leadership development initiatives.
Our industry and technologies are constantly changing, so a key part of being successful in this role involves being able to adapt and thrive in an environment of change – on any given day, you could be developing a presentation for our executive team, analyzing data for our partners in Finance, leading engagement initiatives, building and presenting a business case, or coordinating with TSBT leaders to provide updates for corporate initiatives. You won’t be alone: you will be an integral part of a talented, multi-functional and experienced team that works closely together.
Here’s how
Prime the collection, analysis and organization of data for reporting
Develop professional presentation decks to share analysis and summarize key findings
Manage initiatives through the full cycle of planning, execution and successful implementation
Write clearly and coherently for a variety of audiences including internal teams, technical specialists, and executive leadership
Perform your own research using internal and external resources to master technical concepts and improve business acumen
Qualifications
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts and data sets into meaningful documents with recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in preparing presentations for executive-level audiences
Proven collaborative skills, able to work with all levels of the leadership team
The ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders to establish cross-functional alignment for projects and initiatives
Proven aptitude in managing high volume workloads while paying close attention to details
Project delivery skills with a proven track record in completing complex initiatives
The ability to learn quickly from success or failure, apply sound judgement, and exercise leadership in times of change and ambiguity
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google applications
University degree
Great-to-haves
Experience in project management, financial analysis, consulting or communications
Bilingual fluency (English and French)
