The Independent Americas Business Leader- Membership Education & Agent Growth (BLME) will determine opportunities for our Independent Membership to grow their business and become savvy entrepreneurs through ongoing Education. This leader will work closely with the VP of Retail Operations for both USA & Canada and other Independent Americas leaders to determine the needs of the business.

The BLME will create a roadmap of content, events, and the pricing model for programs. This leader will constantly review our education content for relevancy and ease of adaptability. The BLME will work to refine all education from onboarding (industry experience & NTI) to multi-day, in-person entrepreneurial courses. This leader will be heavily involved in producing conference content and delivery. This person will be responsible to liaise with the Director or Business Leader of Operations & Director or Business Leader of Loyalty and Support to determine relevant education needs short, medium, and long term. The BLME will liaise with other support departments where necessary to enhance content to achieve sales growth and membership retention. The Education programs are a critical part of our offer in market to attract new members to the Independent Americas business.

The Independent Americas Business Leader of Education & Business Growth is a full-time position reporting to the Vice President of Retail USA & Canada.

Accountabilities:

Content Creation and Execution (the Roadmap)

  • Create a roadmap of short, medium, long term Education opportunities for Independent Americas
  • Monitor and assess productivity of membership from Education participation
  • Uphold program NPS rating
  • Salesforce tracking of education completion

Growth of Sales & Profit

  • Grow income through high value & monetized courses (Grow Your Business)
  • Increased total average commission (TAC) for course attendees
  • Increase in preferred product sales

Business Focus & Strategy

  • Collaborate with ILT/IFC and Retail Executive team to create and execute strategic initiatives for Independent Americas business
  • Improve Membership experience to support retention/attraction goals

Qualifications & Prior Experience

  • 5+ years experience in a leadership or business leader role within the travel/similar industry
  • Proven training skills and leadership experience
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills (internal and external)
