Job title: Change Management Lead, Finance Transformation (2 Year Contract)

Job description: We are looking for a Change Management Lead to join us on a two year contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Transformation & Change, this role is responsible for supporting Finance Transformation initiatives, including implementation of a new Finance ERP. The team works in a hybrid/ agile manner for its project delivery and ongoing operations. This role provides opportunities to work across the entire Finance function and gain exposure to many different aspects of the team.

Suitable candidate for this role will have 4-6 years of change management experience related to ERP implementations, will be a valued member of the OMERS Corporate and Capital Markets Finance team and contributor to its transformation goals. Our ambitions are high: we aim to be the best corporate finance team in the Canadian pension industry.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

Leading and developing change management strategies and plans using a structured methodology

Assessing impact on people, process and technology and defining role specific change journeys

Developing communication and engagement plans, and implementing them to align leaders and key stakeholders

Creating and leading change network to increase awareness, enable feedback and champion change initiative

Supporting training efforts; including training needs assessment, training plan, training material and roll-out

Leading end-user readiness assessments and adapting mitigation activities

Providing post-go-live communication support to leaders and end-users

Supporting development and updates to project documentation

Other contributions, as the team may need and as opportunities arise

To succeed in this role, you have:

Experience in large-scale agile ERP implementations

Change Management Certification, PROSCI, or equivalent

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

Excellent PowerPoint and storyboarding skills

Detail-orientation and ability to operate in fast paced environment

A self-starter, proactive and motivated to create positive change

Bonus points if you have:

Knowledge of Corporate Finance function

Familiarity with Finance ERP software

Experience working at a professional services firm

And you demonstrate:
