You will learn to provide great client care including:

• Helping clients maintain independence in their home by supporting their personal and emotional wellbeing.
• Providing compassionate personal care including skin care, hair care, mouth care, bathing, bowel and bladder care and eating.
• Helping clients with comfortable positioning, lifts, transfers and light exercising like assisted walking
• Leading caring and meaningful conversations and activities focus on the client emotional health and happiness.
• Assist with general household management including light housekeeping duties and meal planning/preparation
• Use the most up to date Infection Prevention and Control Practice (IPAC) and protective equipment to keep you and your client safe at all times.

Qualifications

To meet the minimal qualifications, you need to have a driver’s license class G or G2, have a reliable vehicle and also live in the community that you are applying for. We are looking for candidates who can provide an availability to meet client needs which includes daytime, evening and weekends shifts
