Job description: Are you and experienced Construction Foreman looking for a new challenge? If you would like to work for a growing company in the Okanagan that will value your experience, then this is the role for you!

The role –

It goes without saying that as an experienced Construction Foreman you will have managed team of tradesmen and subcontractors on site, and this role will see you leading a team of 4-8 other employees working on Multi-Family Residential and Commercial wood frame projects throughout the Okanagan.

Skills and experience –

While specific education/qualifications are not a must, they are advantageous but your background of 2+ years as a Foreman will show you are the right candidate for the role. It would be ideal if you are Carpentry focused in your experience and knowledge of concrete foundations. Other areas of experience should include pull layouts for walls, floors and roofs outside of your general framing knowledge.

Reading drawings/blueprints, assigning workloads and ensuring work is completed on schedule and to standard are second nature to you on site. Being a hands-on role you of course know your way around hand and power tools and get stuck in with your team.
