Overview

Are you ready to build an exciting and fulfilling career in Engineering? We are delighted to be offering our 2023 Controls and Instrumentation Engineering Graduate Programme, that will truly accelerate your development into a well-rounded, engineering professional!

The programme is for 3 years and will be filled with interesting and high-profile assignments. You will get first-hand experience in technical engineering projects, operations, developing technologies, testing units, improving current products, and designing control systems across a variety of energy technologies.

You can look forward to a mix of on-the-job learning, training modules and project work. As you develop, you’ll find the challenges will increase in complexity and responsibility. Our engineering programme is accredited by the IET (Institution of Engineering & Technology), so you know you’ll be on the right track to become registered as a Chartered Engineer should you choose to, and this typically takes 4-5 years.

We want you to experience as much as possible and be able to soak up and learn about the wonderful world of Engineering and life at Centrica. We will be with you throughout your journey to give you all the support you need!

What we’re looking for

If you are passionate about engineering, really making a difference and have a genuine desire to learn about Centrica, then we would love to hear from you.

In addition, we would like you to demonstrate:

1st or 2:1 Master’s degree in a suitable electronics/control and instrumentation (or closely related) engineering discipline, accredited by the relevant engineering institution

A passionate and creative Engineer who can deliver solutions within tight timeframes and implement them safely and successfully

Willing to relocate within the UK to help make the most of all the opportunities we offer

Have the right to work in the UK

In possession of a full UK driving licence, as you may be required to travel to remote locations

Available to start your Graduate Programme in October 2023
