The Opportunity:

The Design Centre Consultant supports homeowners through their Design Centre process using excellent customer service and personalized guidance with respect to the selection of options and finishes for their new home or condo.

What you’ll be responsible for day to day:

• Introduces purchasers to Minto Design Centre, including services offered, design process and objectives;
• Meet with homeowners to assist in making selections for their new home or condo;
• Maintain notes and files throughout the design process to ensure consistent option delivery;
• Ask probing questions to identify Homeowner needs and budget;
• Propose selections to achieve a Homeowner’s overall vision;
• Capture and enter selections into the homeowner file;
• Review and finalize all necessary documentation at time of sign-off and secure payments as required;
• Provide detailed, accurate, drawings/sketches for use to construct the home;
• Attend and aide in setup and delivery of monthly Design Centre Orientation for new home purchasers;
• Answer homeowner and other team inquiries about new home options and/or selections;
• Work collaboratively within the Design Centre team and other departments to achieve objectives;
• Provide recommendations on new Design Centre offerings based off of homeowner feedback and current market trends;
• Promote and maintain the Minto brand while maintain the company’s mission, values and code of conduct;
• Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

Who we’re looking for:

Education: A College Diploma or Interior Design degree or diploma is an asset or relevant education.

Experience: A minimum two (2) years of relevant experience working in new home and condo construction.
