As a designer, IT architecture, you actively monitor opportunities offered by new technologies for the organization as a whole. You design components to meet the business needs of projects based on architecture targets and supporting foundation. You ensure consistency with the organization’s current and future needs and structure, while also ensuring that new components are compatible with the existing components (infrastructure).
You design infrastructure architecture for important projects and initiatives. The ability to work with technology and optimize work processes is therefore essential. You advise clients and practitioners on integration and coordination matters, so the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a thorough understanding of needs is key. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.
You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in other fields.
You advise and assist your unit, clients and practitioners.
General Information on the Position
Main Responsibilities
Help business partners identify and analyze needs, set priorities, and select and evaluate technology components
Conduct and take part in studies and the feasibility and detailed design phases. Recommend technology
Develop and apply logical models and carry out design, implementation and integration strategies
Ensure cross-sector coordination with committees. Provide support and follow up
Coordinate the activities needed to ensure the quality, performance, reliability, availability and continuous improvement of technology solutions and systems
Other working conditions
Workplace: Currently regular telework because of the pandemic. Position located in Lévis or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
