Take your ambitions to the next level

You will execute the detailed architecture of the client’s technological infrastructures as part of a business or infrastructure project. More specifically, you will cover technological, security and telecommunication aspects while respecting the stability of the operating services as well as the standards, guides and the architectural and operational standards of the company.

You will work on projects for which you will provide expertise regarding use of technologies while taking into account performance, robustness, evolution, succession, safety, and respect for management. You will be tasked with documenting the details of the infrastructure elements which compose the solution, determining the resource requirements, assessing the impact of the project on the systems and links, and ensuring that the tools and rules are implemented to meet the functional need of the operation.

Mastering technology and anticipating innovations, as well as your ability to optimize work processes, will become essential skills. You will play an advisory role with customers and various stakeholders regarding integrations and linkages, requiring you to know how to communicate effectively and demonstrate a detailed understanding of the needs of the various interlocutors. The nature of the files and projects requires extensive knowledge in your field.

You may be called upon to contribute to the resolution of complex problems. These will require analysis and transversal expertise of multiple technological fields.

You will act as a consultant and assume a leadership role with collaborators .as well as with your unit.

  • Design the technological solutions necessary for the advancement of the projects under your responsibility and develop detailed architectures in your field of expertise, including configurations and implementation plans for solutions meeting the evolving needs of the organization;
  • Perform needs, capacity and performance analysis and evaluate implementation efforts;
  • Recommend appropriate actions;
  • Play an advisory role in technological infrastructure;
  • Represent the management with various stakeholders;
  • Produce quality documentation (Office 365, Visio, etc.);
  • Contribute to the development of operationalization criteria, testing and implementation strategies.

Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience as an Architect;
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline;
  • Client/results-orientation;
  • Ability to work in project mode;
  • Interpersonal communication skills;
  • Proficient in:
  • problem solving;
  • written communication.
  • Very good knowledge of VMware, Windows, Linux, SQL Server and/or Oracle (required);
  • Basic knowledge (required):
  • in telecommunications (firewall, load balancer, VLAN, etc.);
  • in security (firewalls, IT compliance such as PCI, security zone structures, etc.).
  • Knowledge:
  • micro-segmentation, more specifically NSX, and Azure technologies (important asset);
  • of Solaris, MQ, AIX, and IAAS, PAAS, CAAS cloud concepts (asset).
  • Experience with Agile frameworks (SAFE, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) (asset);
  • Languages required:
  • French :4/4
