Job title: Distribution Administrator
Job description: Distribution Administrator required for my client, a multi-billion £ global leader in the supply of industrial gas solutions, services and technologies to a wide range of customers and industries.
As Transport & Logistics Administrator you will be a key member of the distribution team, providing administrative duties to assist the team in a fast moving highly efficient environment. Other responsibilities will include the administration of maintenance and compliance for distribution activities.
Responsibilites of the Distribution Administrator:
- Administration of maintenance and compliance for distribution activities
- Creation, editing and closing of planned and unplanned maintenance service orders – Via SAP
- Updating of SAP to include relevant work activity notes
- Preparing of current status maintenance (due and overdue) activity requirements
- Administration of defect related maintenance tasks for all fleet equipment – preparation and distribution of details on a daily/weekly basis
- Collation and communication of details pertaining to vehicle status information
- Creation of purchase requisitions by equipment in SAP
- Supporting fleet maintenance team in relation to general admin tasks as required
Skills and experience of the Distribution Administrator:
- Understanding of distribution activities and legal compliance
- Understanding of production and administrative duties
- Experience working with Microsoft application suite (including Excel and Access)
- SAP working experience
- Knowledge of general administration duties and preparation of KPI reports
- Confident and clear communication skills
- Understanding of process mapping and metrics
- Logical problem solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment
