Job title: Education Department Coordinator
Job description: David Aplin Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our great client to recruit an Education Coordinator based in the Mississauga, Ontario area. This is a 3-to-6-month contract with the potential for an extension.
Compensation: $26 to $33 an hour
Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm (Flexible)
Please note: this role is remote for now but will be hybrid when the office is open 1-2 days a week
The Role:
- Provide administrative support to Education Project Management leads
- Manage tracking and reporting of departmental budget and inform issues to Managers
- Able to coordinate Team meetings such as develop agenda, record time, track and follow up on action items
- Suggest, investigate, source, and design promotional items
- Draft, edit, and format PowerPoint presentations, letters, emails, and workshop documents
- Use the membership database to verify member information
- Work closely with external partners, contractors, and stakeholders as it pertains to the work of the Education department
- Collaborate with other administrators within the division to identify best practices, efficiencies, and common processes
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Healthcare, medical or membership industry experience preferred
- Looking for strong project management skills, highly organized, process-driven, and strong communications in a support role
