Domtar Inc., Specialty Papers Division, Espanola Operations is currently seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineering Co-op Student to fulfil a co-op term at our facility.

Role:

The Electrical Reliability Engineering Co-op Student will be involved in a variety of projects with the support, coaching and guidance of Electrical Engineers and the Maintenance Department during the duration of the term (minimum of 4 months).

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and manage current document management system. This will include the following:
  • Edit mechanical document file structure
  • Scan existing drawings/documentation and store in the appropriate locations
  • Create and edit CAD drawings
  • Assist in performing criticality analysis of current equipment
  • Enter existing mechanical data into computerized maintenance management system (SAP)
  • Enter existing mechanical data into essential care and condition monitoring (ECCM) software (DMSI)
  • Assist in the development and implementation of ECCM routes
  • Assist in standard operating procedures (SOP) creation and development
  • Assist in preventative maintenance (PM) round creation and development
  • Assist in the development and management of various projects

Organizational Responsibility:

Position reports to the Reliability Engineering Superintendent.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled, with minimum completion of 2 years, in an Electrical Engineering Degree program
  • Experience with AutoCAD
