In your role, you will:

Lead Design activities for assigned projects.

Participate in the Structure design (metallic & composite) of clean sheet Aircraft.

Work closely with System Engineering for Structure / System integration

Manage design activities, from concept to entry into service.

Evaluate and propose best manufacturing and assembly technologies.

Lead design activities for major interfaces between Structural Suppliers.

Guide and lead Engineering services suppliers

Elaborate risk management matrix and mitigation plans

Familiar with problem solving, establish recovery plans to meet deadlines.

Define strategy for achieving projects goals: content, scope of work, costs, risks.

Provide visibility to management as needed.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You hold a university degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical Engineering or College degree in Aeronautical
• You have more than 10 years of experience in aerospace design; advanced knowledge in aircraft structures and structures integration.
• You have a very strong knowledge and experience with CATIA V5
• You have knowledge in the manufacturing processes of the aerospace industry
• You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
