We’re also looking at what’s next for you and how we can help you build a career you’re proud of. As a Field Coordinator for our Saskatoon District, you will contribute to our team by:

  • Assisting with updating drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinating inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities.
  • Preparing quantity takeoffs.
  • Assisting in creating, implementing, and monitoring the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections, and identifying issues on site and in work scopes.
  • Conducting basic safety inspections and training, identifying and correcting safety hazards, attending daily safety meetings, and leading by example in safety practices and procedures.
  • Assisting the project team with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes and billings and overseeing work by providing day-to-day direction.
  • Supporting superintendent, project manager and project coordinator on self- perform scopes and workforce planning.
  • Assisting with schedules and monitoring performance.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of progressive experience as field coordinator is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including supervisors and subtrade partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
  • Excitement for potential relocation and temporary out of town project assignments.
