We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our wonderful team at Midtown Toronto, this is a Hybrid position, and we are looking for an accountant with strong experience in banking reconciliations.

What You’ll Do:
We are looking for someone who is keen on becoming a key business finance partner in our revenue recognition cycle, forecasting, ad hoc analytics, and process improvement. We are looking for people who can conduct financial and receipts reconciliations, financial modeling, as well as measure, analyze and forecast performances in conjunction with operating plans. You will be expected to work closely with the CFO and the ops and finance team to best accomplish various analytical objectives, as well as be responsible for the accuracy of the revenue cycle recording, reconciliation and problem solving.
Your responsibilities:
- Review and complete weekly clinic deposit and receipt worksheet and reconcile production booking to the financial system. Ensure recording transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for completing receivable and production Reconciliation at the month’s end, identifying and dealing with discrepancies.
- Produce month-end production reports from the practice management system.
- Assist with month-end closing and revenue allocation
- Responsible for revenue cycle internal audit and control
- Assist the CFO with acquisition modeling
- Produce month-end business performance measurement analysis
- Take ownership of specific support and ad-hoc analysis required by the management as assigned.
- Assist with other special financial or accounting projects assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, 2-4 years post CPA designation experience
- Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets
- Advanced excel/spreadsheet knowledge and hands on experience
- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as effectively deliver communications
- Strong ability in performing reconciliation work
- Good understanding of Financial Analytics, great numerical accuracy
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and willing to take the initiative to get things done
- Experience with QuickBooks, SQL and dental practice management system a strong asset
- Lastly, a can-do attitude and a polite communication style.
