Job Description:
Reporting to the Director, Security, Risk and Crisis Management Business Office, the Analyst will coordinate along with senior members of the Information Security team, providing financial analysis and presenting complex financial information in a clear fashion. The Finance Analyst must be a dynamic individual with a passion for details and excellent communication skills.
What will you do?
Fact-check and query considerable amounts of data
Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding
Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
Reconcile invoices with balance sheet reports and resolve any discrepancies
Reconcile vendor invoices and coordinate with finance on purchase order payments
Ensure vendor billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
Support Info Sec department by providing financial data as needed
Maintain updated records of accounts receivable
Prepare reports and meet billing deadlines
What do you need to succeed?
Recent graduate or embarking on a new career in finance
Strong organizational, time management and facilitation abilities
Strong communication skills with an ability to think outside the box
Self-motivated, flexible, and highly resourceful
Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Able to work in a fast paced enviornment with strict deadlines
Willingness to work with geographically distributed teams
Basic understanding of the changing security landscape is an asset
Highly attentitive to detail and accuracy
Flexible, ability to pivot from one task to another to adjust to changing priorities

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
