Role Overview:

Amplifon Canada, a leader in the rapidly growing hearing care industry, has a strong demand for diverse, authentic, creative, and dynamic leader for our Finance Analyst role. In this role, you will provide significant value to the organization by executing the analysis necessary to support the company’s financial health that is necessary for our strategic growth and market expansion.

Success Criteria:

The Finance Analyst will support business development leaders with M&A due diligence by providing relevant information and analysis of our financial interests. They will manage and execute the M&A processes and support stakeholders with post-close integration efforts.

They will support the finance team with managing accurate open balance sheets and weekly reporting. In partnership with the finance and treasury team, they will ensure all account changeovers and tax balances are exchanged accurately and efficiently.

A successful candidate will have a strong financial acumen, a curious and inquisitive mindset that aims to solve problems. They are collaborative in nature, and have a strong eye for detail, accuracy and organization. Thy can manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while flexibly adapting to changing priorities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting

2-4 years working experience in an accounting, finance, or controllership position

Enrollment and/or working towards CPA designation is preferred

Capabilities:

Highly independent in strategic thinking to identify and anticipate risk and opportunities, framing complex problems, driven by intellectual curiosity

Strong accounting and financial acumen that will allow the candidate to distill key insights from a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis

Excellent communication skills, both oral and writing (especially presentations), and ability to communicate with different audiences (including executive communication)

Team player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships

Comfortable managing multiple assignments simultaneously and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while ensuring deadlines are met

Experience with M&A due diligence and integration is a plus
