Department Overview

The US PIC Finance Team is responsible for the Consolidation, Reporting and Analysis of AMCB project spend. PIC Finance reposts to the Shared Services & Technology CFO.

Job Requirements

  • Provide subject matter expertise on matters involving internal developed software capitalization.
  • Perform capital journal entries, and project organizational maintenance.
  • Perform month-end Clarity CAPEX bulk uploads, and reconciliations to Oracle/ Prodact.
  • General Software Amortization reporting, including variance tracking.
  • Processing CIP to CAP assets requests.
  • Additionally, Analyst will have the opportunity to collaborate with Shared Services Finance team and assist in the generation of unit cost / scorecard metrics, process necessary ATR invoices and review LOB invoices accruals.

Job Description

The Financial Analyst III provides planning, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis support to the US Project Investment Committee (US PIC) Portfolio. The individual will be part of broader US PIC Finance Team and will benefit from a large finance community. PIC Finance provides support to all US-based projects in US Retail. As part of the responsibilities, the Financial Analyst III serve as a liaison between PIC Finance and several other groups within both the Project Management and Finance communities.

The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Finance Manager of PIC Finance – Consolidation, Reporting & Analytics. This position may be located anywhere within the TD footprint.

Additional Information

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-7 years related experience required.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Knowledge of accounting and the associated rules and regulations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives.
  • Practical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to successfully plan, develop, lead, and execute projects.
  • Ability to effectively interpret, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, communicate and follow-through.
  • Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information.
