Fort Hills Finance is seeking a new team member who has the ability to translate complex information into validated insights and solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to influence, persuade and facilitate change within the Fort Hills and Finance organizations. This position will also create the opportunity for leadership development for the preferred candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance degree

Six years of relevant experience

A recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA) with a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles

Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with SAP and Microsoft tools

Excellent presentation development skills

Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in business partnering outside of finance

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate financial performance, strategies and drivers to leadership and finance stakeholders

Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and clearly communicate findings

Prepare monthly accruals and performance management reports

Coordinate and deliver monthly forecasts, budget and business planning deliverables presented to senior leaders

Provide input on continuous improvements in performance reporting, planning processes and deliverables

Gather and interpret data from different sources, identify and analyze operational trends, and develop strategies to address issues or concerns.

Location and other Key Details:

You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday

Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
