Description
Reporting to Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for support the Finance Manager in the administration of the activities in the office. This is a full-time non-unionized position.
The Finance Assistant would be responsible but not limited for:
Responsibilities :-
- Weekly financial statement preparation
- Sales: Verification of bank deposits and sales reports from POS system. Reconcile sales in Aramark accounting system.
- Expenses: Provide support to data entry clerks and oversee
Reporting to Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for support the Finance Manager in the administration of the activities in the office. This is a full-time non-unionized position. * Payroll: Provide support to manager to ensure Payroll activities are accurately maintained. Processing weekly payroll. Maintain vacation and other benefit worksheets.
- Review of Sales and Purchase Summaries
- Issue accounts receivable invoices for catering department
- Oversee inventory count entry for all components
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Respond to A/R, A/P and payroll enquiries
- Perform audits with Finance Manager
- Other duties required by management
Qualifications
- Finance and accounting education or equivalent experience
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality when working with sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EXCEL,
- Willingness to learn and upgrade skills as needed
